The expression or destiny for #6: The number 6 Expression provides you a truly outstanding sense of responsibility, love, and balance. The 6 is helpful and ever conscientious, making you quite capable of rectifying and balancing any sort of inharmonious situation. You are a person very much inclined to give help and comfort to those in need. You have a natural penchant for working with the old, the young, the sick, or the underprivileged. Although you may have considerable creative and artistic talents, the chances are that you will devote yourself to an occupation that shows concern for the betterment of the community (one fine day, i really really will).

The positive side of the number 6 suggests that you are very loving, friendly, and appreciative of others. You have a depth of understanding that produces much sympathetic, kindness, and generosity. The qualities of the 6 make the finest and most concerned parent and one often deeply involved in domestic activities (yes! like washing the dishes, doing the laundry, sweeping and mopping the floor!). Openness and honesty is apparent in your approach to all relationships.

If there is an excess of the number 6 in your makeup, you may exhibit some of the negative traits associated with this number. There may be a tendency for you to be too exacting and demanding of yourself. In this regard, you may at times sacrifice yourself (or your loved ones) for the welfare of others. In some cases, the over zealous 6 has difficulty distinguishing helping from interfering. You may have difficulty expressing your own individuality, because of involvement with responsibilities and causes. Like all with the Expression of the number 6, it's quite likely that you worry much too much. BWAHAHAHA.

Your Soul Urge number is: 1
A Soul Urge number of 1 means: Your Soul Urge is the number 1. With a Soul Urge number of 1, you want to lead and direct, to work independent of supervision, by yourself or with subordinates. In your desire to manage the big picture and the main issues, you may often leave the details to others.

The positive 1 Soul Urge is Ambitious and determined, a leader seeking opportunities. There is a great deal of honesty and loyalty in this character. If you possess positive 1 Soul Urge qualities, you are very attainment oriented and driven to success. You are a loyal friend and strictly fair in your business dealings.

The negative side of the 1 Soul Urge must be avoided. A negative 1 is apt to dominate situations and people; the home, the spouse, the family and the business (patay tayong lahat). Emotions aren't strong in this nature. If you possess an excess of 1 energy, you may, at times, be boastful and egotistic. You must avoid being too critical and impatient of trifles. True Friendship
None of that Sissy Crap

Are you tired of those sissy "friendship" poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality? Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship. You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this card--just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.

1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard, or bitch, who made you sad.

2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you finally got laid.

4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be... until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.

This is my oath..... I pledge it to the end. "Why?" you may ask; "Because you are my friend".

Send this to "all 10" of your friends, then get depressed because you can only think of 4.

Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth.

And always remember.... when life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt.

*thanks for sending this my way, chris! had a laugh at 1am, pambawi sa 17 hours (and counting) workday!

my father the hero...

...has conquered land, air, various languages and firearms, and now, (under)water.

he went diving in palawan last week.

doctors always told him he couldn't because of his ear, his vertigo-ish inclinations, his "comes with the senior citizens' discount" health concerns.

but he did it--a childhood dream come true.

makes you believe your life can change, even when you're over half a century old.

(so there may be hope for me yet--to figure out the inner workings of greenbelt, or maybe, just maybe, find, if not the bliss, then more.)

boracay 07

first non-work related parao ride. to hear nothing but water and wind is bliss.

first boracay sunset in a looooong time.

first beach for my havaianas (GBGC - God Bless GCs)

while i appreciate the paved roads and how easy it is to get a trike to wherever, it's getting a bit too commercialized for me...like greenbelt on a beach...
but jonah's shakes still rock--as a producer said, "liquid sunshine in my mouth".
moral of the story? go back to bohol before it's too late!!!

i wanna be cate...kate...cate...

because they're so beautiful and strong and talented i'd love to
a) have either one as a sister
b) have either one as a friend
c) be either one

(women's month = women who are Women)

midnight...not a sound from the pavement...

...actually, more like 3:32am, not a sound from the apartment...

in my quest for fast wifi/internet/whatever the official term is connection, i find myself sitting at the end of the hallway of the 4th floor of our building, hoping that gmail will save the day and send my heavy(gats) attachments.

i'm having a white night--but not my usual existential crisis, just the running-on-coffee-i-gotta-get-this-done garden variety. this is the kind of moment when i feel like i'm me but i'm not me. these are my hands typing, i can see them, i can hear my nails hitting the keyboard, but it's like i'm standing outside of me.

a college friend had a poem entitled dis.loc.ation (or something like that). i feel that word right now.

hitting the beach in 2 days, a beach i haven't seen in 3 or 4 years. it's for work, but one jonah's shake and i'm a happy camper.
